JOHN GRASSADONIA: Guestbook

Sally Bolderson

September 2, 2008

I was recently given a copy of John's CD "Show Me the Way" and the title track has HOOKED me! The soothing melody and the lyrics just tug at my heart. You reference this song as a turning point and I can't wait to see what comes next! I have listened to it over and over again as I drive in my car. I put in the cd, go to that song and push "repeat". And then it runs through my head all day long! Great work, John!

John, you, your music, and your spirituality are a huge blessing in my life!!! And Sherry, the only thing that could have added to this is you. You are a talented artist in your own right. Your spirituality merges with John's, and your marriage witnesses for all those around you what God must surly intend marriage to be like.
After being away from the church for a very long time, I finally found my way back, and I'm sure that God helped me find St. Josephs, the beautiful "really" Christian community I have found here, you, Sherry, and your music. All of my life music has burned in my heart. Before I left the Church, I was heavily involved in the music programs with two parishes for thirteen years. Then I was away from both the church and the music for such a long time that when I found St. Josephs and your music all in one spot, I couldn't "shout it from the mountain tops" loudly enough to tell you how glad I am to be back. I've come home to the Church again, and this overwhelming feeling of being incredibly blessed washes over me and fills every cell in my body with joy and thanksgiving every time I am a part of the music here. I feel very lucky to be able to learn from you John; you are indeed "my hero". May God bless you, Sherry, and your music ministry abundantly for years and years to come.

My husband, Scott and I traveled to Italy this past summer 2007. While in Rome, on the very last day of our trip, we were very fortunate to see Pope Benedict. To my surprise this was the very best day of our vacation! While waiting at the Vatican, arriving 2 hours early, I listened to John's "Show Me The Way" cd over and over and over again. I thought John's 1st cd, "God's Great Universe" was excellent and that it would be hard to top... but out came "Pray On", again hard to top... but while at the Vatican, listening to "Show Me The Way" and especially "Habemus Papam" I couldn't tell you which is my favorite cd. If anyone is traveling to see the Pope, listen to "Habemus Papam" while waiting, you will be totally pumped and ready for Pope Benedict!...I know I was. Thanks John for making this part of our trip the best! The bells were beautiful!!!!
God bless everyone!

My husband and I had the wonderful opportunity to host a home/garden concert this past July 2006. We invited our family, friends, and neighbors to enjoy an evening of food, wine, conversation and the awesome music of John Grassadonia.
This event was uplifting and inspiring to all who attended!!
We thank Johnny and his lovely wife, Sherry, for coming to our home and sharing their gift of God inspiring music!!! We hope we can do this again!!
We love you guys!!

Oh my gosh! NO! I do mean: oh my GOD :-) John! this is wonderful!!! I prayed the Lord would draw me to him again, and he led me to St. Joseph's today. He KNEW. He knew my heart needed to praise and worship his love. His love is endless and enduring. I've taught in the Catholic Church for 4 years and felt my soul was not being nourished. Lead me Lord.....I would say....... I took a 6 month break and boy did he ever lead me back. Thank you for feeding me soul today, for I needed to sing of His glory and worship and praise His majesty. OK - enough email babble.... I'll keep reading and look for you to come sing again. The Spirit is ALIVE and moving in the Catholic Church - let's make 'er MOVE!
God bless you and your family

I love to start my morning listening to Show Me The Way; either before I get up or when I am having my coffee or when saying morning prayers. It is so beautiful and inspiring. It also gets me working and then enjoying a respite just sitting and listening to the beautiful words and music. It does wonders for anyone's spirituality. God bless you John! Keep up your wonderful ministry!

If it could be possible to out do your previous CD's, the 'Come Together Now' CD arguably could do it.
